Adapting to Climate Change

In the fall of 2022, working with Municipal staff, members of the Climate Action Committee and experts from the Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation - a climate-focused think tank at the University of Waterloo - met to discuss strategies to address the potential impacts of climate change on the Peninsula.

This analysis was based on projections and the latest climate science generously compiled by leading scientists from Parks Canada. The Climate Action Committee has put together a brief summary of their findings below.
