The Municipality is committed to working with the Arena users, community organizations, and the public, to ensure the final plans for the arena reflect the needs of the community moving forward. While there is a limited budget, the Municipality has hired an engineering firm and will be hiring an architect to draw up revised plans.

“The Arena renovations are a long time coming, after years of planning and persistent funding applications in 2012, 2015 and now finally in 2019,” said Mayor McIvor. “We are proud to have successfully secured funding, but Council understands the need to ensure these plans are up to date. We all look forward to hearing what the community has to say.”
